Today, increased energy savings and decreased maintenance on the drives due to Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Drives are eroded by increases in motor bearing failures. Corona inception, stray current, crosstalk and common-mode voltage have been troubling the automation due to spurious trips of sensitive electronic equipment, fluting and cable failures. These premature cable failures occurred due to corona inception. Significant research by Service Wire has concluded that a complete cable system is required to eliminate the problems. The complete system consists of: correct ASD/VFD cable, specifically designed Connectors and proper Termination Kits. ServiceDrive Cable System provides the best low impedance path for the high frequency current to eliminate these problems. It provides the customers an innovative, cost-effective, complete solution with proper termination and reduced downtime. The specially designed connectors do not get dislocated due to vibration in the system and ease of inspection avoids lock out/tag out procedures.
