| Designed for General Purpose and Non-Incendive/Zone 2 (TG200)and Zone 1 (TG300), TRUNKGUARD Device Couplers enable fast and easy implementation of fieldbus systems by connecting multiple devices to a main fieldbus trunk in FOUNDATION Fieldbus or PROFIBUS PA networks.
TRUNKGUARD Device Couplers protect segments from spur faults. They provide electronic and fully auto-resetting spur short-circuit protection that prevents segment failure caused by single device faults.
TRUNKGUARD reduces commissioning delays through patented Automatic Segment Termination technology. Diagnostic LEDs speed diagnostics and device configuration. Additionally, both the TG200 and TG300 series feature easy hazardous area installation in Division 2/Zone 2 and Zone 1 areas with high power and Exd devices.
TRUNKGUARD TG200 Series Device Couplers are available in models that handle four to 20 fieldbus devices.
TRUNKGUARD TG300 Series Device Couplers, which simplify the use of high power or Exd fieldbus devices in Zone 2 and Zone 1 by allowing live access for maintenance, are available in models that handle four or eight fieldbus devices.
