| Moore Industries HART Interface Devices read and monitor the digital HART signal from HART capable transmitters, multivariable transmitters or valves, and break out this digital HART signal into analog, relay or MODBUS RTU signals. Available HART Interface Devices include the HIM Smart HART Loop Interface and Monitor and the HCS HART Concentrator System. Both HART devices monitor critical and safety-related loops, prevent costly false shutdowns and warn of unwanted process or instrument fault conditions.
The HIM converts HART to 4-20mA for up to three analog signals. The HIM features diagnostic alarms, a large 5-digit display, and isolated output channels. It can be set to monitor HART instruments operating in either Normal or Burst Mode.
The HCS converts a HART digital signal to a serial MODBUS RTU communication protocol. The HCS can monitor a single instrument in point-to-point HART mode, or up to 16 HART instruments in a digital multi-drop HART network.
Both the HIM and HCS work with every HART-compatible device, and monitor HART instrument diagnostics. |
