RACO alarm autodialers provide remote monitoring, reporting, and control functions over standard dial-up or cellular telephone networks. Alarms report to computers, standard phone, cell, pager, or voicemail. Applications from a single point to a multi-station, multi-point PLC, DCS, or SCADA network
RACO makes it easy to connect Allen-Bradley controllers with Alarm Autodialing and Remote Monitoring functions. Verbatim Gateway uses TouchTone telephones as interactive, multi-functional operator interfaces. The system allows read and write access to PLC data tables and I/O points via any standard TouchTone phone. At any time, the user can check the status of or alter any monitored PLC data table location or I/O points. The system also provides monitoring of up to 96 points reflecting any combination of discrete, analog, timer, counter, or other PLC data objects for alarm reporting, status checking, and data logging. Upon detection of alarm conditions, the system automatically calls up to 16 phone numbers and provides clear, voice-message report of the alarm condition. When a connection is made, the system reports the station identity and alarm condition by way of the users' own voice-recorded messages. The Verbatim Gateway delivers these important functions via serial cable connection and without requiring the use of PLC outputs or modification of PLC control programs.
