1336 FORCE™(1336T)
The 1336 FORCE AC drive redefines the traditional uses for AC drives by combining high performance motor control, digital communication capabilities, and advanced power structure design in a single product.
Allen-Bradley's patented field-oriented control provides the precise speed and torque control necessary to handle the most demanding applications, including those that are typically reserved for DC drives. Motor speed regulation is 0.001% of top speed over a 100:1 speed range, the same as our best DC drive. The drive also controls torque directly and can deliver full torque at all speeds down to zero RPM. Built-in auto tuning features help the drive to tune itself to the motor and connected load using only typical motor nameplate data.
The 1336 FORCE AC drive shares many features with the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS AC drives, including human interface module, space saving packaging, and communications capability. The 1336 FORCE drive has additional communications capability through optional adapter boards that can connect directly to a PLC programmable logic controller via Data Highway Plus(TM) and Remote I/O. For more time-critical information, such as speed or torque commands, a digital drive-to-drive link enables drives to communicate control information directly from one 1336 FORCE AC drive to another.
The 1336 FORCE drive uses the latest insulated gate bi-polar transistor (IGBT) technology to provide smooth current output to the motor and adjustable carrier frequency for quiet operation. This also reduces motor heating and noise.
Available as a stand-alone product or as part of a control system, the drive can be packaged into an Allen-Bradley motor control center. System packages with common DC bus connections share regenerative energy between drives and reduce the amount of floor space needed for control equipment.
