Drives
An optional InterBus communication module for the 160 SSC™, that provides a low cost solution for control and monitoring of the 160 SSC™ drive. The InterBus module attaches directly to the front of the drive in place of the Program Keypad Module or Ready/Fault Panel adding less than 25mm to the overall depth. Using the InterBus communication module reduces the installation time and provides feedback of the drive operating conditions.
Communication Flexibility with the 160-IB1
- The 160-IB1
interface allows a 160 SSCT
series C drive, to be connected onto an InterBus network. A variety
of different network masters can be used.
- InterBus input/output
9-pin male/female D-shell connectors for interconnecting onto
the InterBus remote network.
- Protective Earth
connection for the 160-IB1 interface.
- Compact design
in the familiar 160 SSCT
communication interface format, allows quick installation directly
to the front of 160 SSCT.
This economizes on valuable panel space.
- Visual indication
via LED's for Remote Cable check, Bus Active, Transmit/Receive,
Remote Bus Disable, Drive Fault.
- Using standard
drive profile (Drivecom 20/21) for control of the drive, will
make it easy to integrate into existing networks
- The ability
to Start/Stop and control the speed in both directions. The
interface also provides the Drive status with speed feedback.
- The drive
can also pass information using an explicit telegram. This slower
method of communication can be used to get/set parameters for
changing the dynamic performance of the drive, or just monitoring
parameters.
