Bulletin 160Z AC Drive (Legacy)
Designed to meet user demands for motor control in wash-down or zero-cabinet environments, the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 160Z drive features NEMA 4X/IP65-rated protection and network connectivity in a compact, space-saving design. This drive is the newest drive within the Bulletin 160 product line which offers four drive packaging options including IP54/65 configured, chassis mount, IP20 open style and zero-cabinet NEMA 4X/IP65 drive. Each drive package delivers a user-specified, space efficient control solution for three-phase motors, ranging from 0.37 to 2.2 kW (0.5 to 3hp) at 200 to 240 volts and from 0.37 to 4 kW (0.5 to 5 hp) at 380 to 460 volts.
Simple Start Up and Operation
Start up is made simple using one of the following methods:
- Remote Keypad Module – designed to meet IP65 (NEMA 4X) requirements. This module can be installed as a permanent operator interface device or used as a troubleshooting tool.
- CopyCat Keypad Module – designed to allow storage of up to 15 program files. This hand held device allows upload and download saving valuable installation time and ensuring accurate, repeatable setup. This module can be plugged/unplugged while the drive is running.
- RS232C Communications Module – designed to provide serial communication with PC tools and the drive. This module links DriveExplorer™ or DriveExecutive™ software and the drive. This offers an intuitive interface to assist the user in starting, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting the drives.
