20-XCOMM-DC-BASE

The 20-XCOMM-DC-BASE provides two primary features:

• The ability to provide a second network connection to a PowerFlex 70, 700, 700S and 700H drive.
• The means to add optional network I/O to the existing drive node, saving the need for an additional I/O node on the network.

The 20-XCOMM-DC-BASE can be used with the following adapters only:

• 20-COMM-E EtherNet/IP
• 20-COMM-C ControlNet (coax)
• 20-COMM-Q ControlNet (fiber)
• 20-COMM-D DeviceNet (Series B or later)

The 20-XCOMM-DC-BASE requires external 24vDC power and connects to the external DPI connector on a PowerFlex 70, 700, 700S and 700H drive using a 1202-C** cable. If a remote HIM, etc. is already using the external DPI connector, a 1203-S03 Splitter Cable could be used to allow a dual connection (depends on available DPI power on Host product).
