Your ControlNet communication questions have been answered. The 22-COMM-C ControlNet adapter provides redundant coaxial ControlNet connections for PowerFlex 4, 40 and 400 drives. This adapter provides a means to control, configure and collect data over a ControlNet network.

• Redundant coax media connections
• Supports multicast and redundant owner / hot-backup connections
• 5 Mbps high-speed I/O data transfer with 5 ms network update time (NUT)
• Mounts in PowerFlex 40 or PowerFlex 400 drives, or External DSI Communication Kits
• Configurable for Single or Multi-Drive (up to 5 drives per node) operating modes
• Compatible with these Allen-Bradley configuration tools:
  • PowerFlex 4-Class HIMs (22-HIM-*)
  • DriveExplorer (version 3.01 or higher)
  • DriveExecutive (version 3.01 or higher)
• LED indicators to report the status of drive communications, the adapter, and network
• Supports basic I/O including Logic Status/Speed Feedback and Logic Command/Speed Reference, and explicit messaging for all connected drives
