Bulletin 2364F RGUs: Regenerative DC Bus Supply Units
The Bulletin 2364F RGU (synchronous rectifier) provides for bi-directional power flow between the 3-phase AC line and a connected DC common bus. Common DC bus 2362 units are connected to this DC power bus, providing a convenient way to power multiple inverters.
The RGU provides three Modes of Operation:
- DC Bus Voltage Limiting (braking chopper type operation) where the DC bus follows the AC line up to limiting level
- DC Bus Voltage Controller (Regulates the DC bus voltage around a user entered set point)
- Power Factor (pf) control (leading / lagging control of entire common DC lineup, within operating limits)
The design also provides many standard performance features as well as a variety of packaging and control configuration options including:
- SCANport communication supports a variety of communication methods for programming, monitoring, and controlling the 2364F RGU. RIO, DeviceNet, and ControlNet communication interfaces are available.
- Nominal input voltages of 380, 460, and 575V AC
- Current limiting fuses and padlockable AC line disconnect device
- Voltage regulator bandwidth is greater than 200 rad/sec; current regulator bandwidth is greater than 1500 rad/sec
