The new 1200XT Industrial Computers are the HMI for extreme environments. These industrial computers combine safety with extended operating temperature ratings. Industries from oil and gas to chemicals and mining must regularly work in areas with the potential for presence of explosive gasses and dust. Hardware in these locations often take a beating. The 1200XT computers are designed and built rugged to endure these harsh environments.

With Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX hazardous location certification, the 1200XT Industrial Computers can be safely used globally, in areas where explosive materials may be present.

The 1200XT Industrial Computers are offered in both display and non-display versions. The non-display version can be paired with a 6186M Performance Industrial Monitor for a Class 1 Division 2 certified system. The display version of this computer is panel mounted while the non-display version mounts on a wall. Both can withstand temperatures between -20…70 °C (-4…158 °F) inside a cabinet or enclosure. The surface temperature on the front of the display computer can withstand temperatures in the range -20…55 °C (-4…131 °F).
