InView™ Message Displays

InView Message Displays are panel mount and large format displays for visually communicating information to groups or at a distance across the entire factory floor. Whether it’s process alarming, safety messages, inventory or process data, or thanking the team, InView displays deliver the right information at the right time to the right place. Choose from eleven different models offering varying display lines, character sizes, message colors, font types and messaging effects.

Product Design
InView displays are industrialized panel mount or large marquee displays that use long-life red or tri-color (red, green, amber) LED technology to produce highly visible text messages. Viewing distances range from 7 m (25 ft) to 137 m (450 ft). Up to five lines of information can be displayed at once, depending on the model.
With the built-in serial port, InView displays support point-to-point RS-232 and multi-drop RS-485 serial connections. Optional communication modules provide connection to a variety of networks. These modules are powered by the InView displays and are available in three form factors: DIN rail mounted for P22R displays, back mounted for P4x displays, and internally mounted for P7x and P9x displays.
Communication
InView communication modules greatly expand InView functionality through many different networks. By offering connections to Data Highway Plus, DH-485, Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP and Ethernet TCP/IP, the InView family of displays is positioned to seamlessly integrate into new or existing networks. Everything needed to set up the communication modules is included in the InView Messaging Software.

Software
Develop messages on a PC with the InView Configuration Software (2706-PSW1), a user-friendly and intuitive Microsoft Windows software package with WYSIWYG functionality. Within a simple configuration environment, you can quickly set up your communication network and easily develop and test messages with varying attributes such as:

- Font size and format
- Embedded variables
- Messaging Effects
