Pico controllers can be either DIN-rail or panel mounted, or mounted directly on your machine. They offer the following control capabilities:
- 8 or 12 inputs (up to 24 inputs with I/O Expansion Block).
- 4, 6, or 8 outputs (up to 16 outputs with I/O Expansion Block).
- 4 soft inputs controlled by the available on-board keypad.
- 16 internal bits for intermediate data storage.
- 16 timers.
- 16 counters (includes 2 frequency counters and 2 high-speed counters).
- 8 real-time clock instructions.
- 16 analog compare instructions (12V DC, 24V DC, or 24V AC units only).
- 16 text display screens.
Depending on which Pico controller you use, expansion I/O modules can provide up to 40 I/O points.
