PowerFlex Diode Bus Supplies are single-direction power converters for the front-end of common DC bus drive systems. The supplies convert incoming three-phase AC line voltage to a common DC bus voltage and current. The diode Bus Supply offers the following features:
- Six-pulse, full-wave, three-phase diode bridge rectifier unit directly connected to the line input terminals.
- Bus supply overtemperature sensors located in the heat sink for thermal protection of the diode bridge rectifier.
- MOV circuit for surge protection connects to the three input phases.
- Cooling fans powered by integral 24V DC supply.
- DC bus snubber circuit for dampening and linearity of overvoltages.
- Integral DC chokes, input filter capacitors and common mode capacitors compose an RFI filter meeting the requirements of EMC product standard 61800-3 for industrial environments.
