720 Machine Monitor
YOUR COMPLETE MONITORING AND PROTECTION SOLUTION
With comprehensive local status and level indication, and three user configurable relays, the XM-720 machine monitor has everything you need for a complete machinery monitoring and protection system.
As a standalone device the XM-720 Machine Monitor is an ideal solution for monitoring the condition of fans, pumps, blowers and other essential machinery.
The XM-720 is built on standard XM® Machine Condition Monitoring and Protection technology, expanding the system to include other modules or linking the device into broader systems is easily achieved. As with any XM based solution, users have complete control over configuring the device to satisfy more advanced monitoring requirements such as those based on speed, orders, spike energy measurements or other parameters besides the overall vibration level.
The XM-720 family of Machine Vibration Monitors provides users everything that they need in a compact, easy to install, operate and maintain package. The XM-720 Machine Monitor includes:
- One XM Measurement Module:
- XM-120 Standard Dynamic Measurement Module
- XM-121 Low Frequency Dynamic Measurement Module
- XM-122 gSE Vibration Module
- XM-441 Expansion Relay Module (Three relays, Transducer Fault, Warning & Trip, are available for field use.
- Front panel display of:
- Buffered outputs for channels 1, 2 and the tachometer
- LED status indication for:
- Front panel relay reset control
- DC Power Supply
As a replacement monitor for retiring IRD 5802 monitors the XM-720 Machine Monitor offers the simplest replacement strategy:
- Common cutout dimensions. The XM-720 is 1.125 in (2.86 cm) deeper than the IRD 5802.
- Common functionality. Out of the box the XM-720 offers each of the key display and protection functions as the IRD 5802 vibration monitor.
- All wiring common to the IRD 5802 has been brought to a simple easily accessed removable terminal mounted on the back panel.
