InView Messaging Software Version 2.5 makes message generation and management quick and easy. With version 2.5, users can take advantage of a new graphical user interface, WYSIWYG messaging editor, integrated utility for setting up InView communication modules, report generation tools, and application download capabilities.

• Display and Network Management — InView messaging software now uses a new graphical user interface (GUI) to enhance management of InView displays and the networks where they reside. The new GUI is divided into three areas: displays, message files, and message file details. This division allows the creation of messaging applications for multiple displays, with multiple message files consisting of multiple messages. The new layout provides better display control and easier changes and updates; instead of multiple files for each display, InView software now allows a single file for all displays.
• WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor — The new WYSIWYG editor allows users to see exactly what the InView will display as the message is created. The WYSIWYG shows fonts, colors, page breaks, and line breaks on a simulated LED matrix display. The editor also offers easy change from one message to the next, affording efficient creation and editing of large messaging applications. In addition, the WYSIWIG editor provides message flashing, which is perfect for alarms and alerts.
• Communication Module Setup Utility — InView version 2.5 software has a communication utility integrated within the new environment, allowing the user to easily configure and establish communications with displays equipped with InView communication modules. This feature quickly starts the display communicating via DH+, DH-485, Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet/IP.
• Display Report Generation Capabilities — InView's new software can create custom message file reports. These reports can be especially effective for display management and for creating hard copies of all messages within a message file. The reports can be tailored so the output matches the data needed.
• Application Download over the Networks (Legacy and NetLinx) — InView version 2.5 software now includes the ability to download a new messaging application over your existing networks: Remote I/O, DH+, DH-485, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP. Downloading applications via InView communication modules improves flexibility, reduces system downtime, and creates the most effective messaging system available today.
