These Bulletin 140M Connectors and Coil Modules allow for user-friendly construction of Three Component Starters. Three Component Starters consist of a Bulletin 140M Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, a Bulletin 100C Contactor (AC coils) and a Bulletin 193 Overload Relay. Typically, such Three Component Starters present difficulties in wiring the coil terminals since the 140M is mounted directly above the contactor and the overload relay is mounted directly below the contactor. The coil modules provide a convenient method for accessing these coil terminal connections in Three Component Starter assemblies. The connectors and coil modules are as follows:
  • 140M-C-PNC23 Ser. A Connector Module for 140M-C to 100-C09…23
  • 140M-D-PNC23 Ser. A Connector Module for 140M-D to 100-C09…23
  • 140M-F-PNC37 Ser. B Connector Module for 140M-F to 100-C30…37
  • 140M-F-PNC43 Ser. B Connector Module for 140M-F to 100-C43
  • 140M-C-PSC23 Ser. A Coil Module for 100-C09…23
  • 140M-F-PSC43 Ser. A Coil Module for 100-C30…43
The connectors and coil modules are also available in kits as follows:
  • 140M-C-PKC23 = 140M-C-PNC23 + 140M-C-PSC23
  • 140M-D-PKC23 = 140M-D-PNC23 + 140M-C-PSC23
  • 140M-F-PKC37 = 140M-F-PNC37 + 140M-F-PSC43
  • 140M-F-PKC43 = 140M-F-PNC43 + 140M-F-PSC43

These connectors require the 140M and 100C contactors (AC coils) to be separately mounted on DIN rail. For the 140M-C,-D this presents a change from the existing Eco connector modules which require that only the 140M is mounted on DIN rail (the contactor is mechanically fixed and supported to the 140M).
