800T PenTUFF™ Contact Blocks

Allen-Bradley patented, direct drive pentafurcated contacts are revolutionizing the market for low voltage switching. They feature spanners with five “fingers” on each side of the spanner for 961 different possible current paths. Each path can carry the full rated load of the contact.

Pentafurcated contacts:

• feature excellent contact wiping for increased contact reliability and life.
• minimize bounce with the rounded design of the spanner’s “fingers” and the surface it makes contact with.
• make connections sequentially, with each finger making contact independently.
• feature a spanner made from inert precious metals to resist corrosion, and flex around debris up to 0.005 inches.
