Gland Plate Design with ArmorConnect™ Connectivity

Now Available with NEMA 4X Rating!

The ArmorStart product line has been expanded to serve the food and beverage market space with a NEMA type 4X offering for all motor starting methods (Bulletin 280/281/283/284).

The ArmorStart voltage ratings have been expanded to include 575 Volts for the Bulletin 280/281, 283 and 284 (using the Power Flex PF40 AC Drive). The "gland plate" design on both the IP67 and NEMA 4X offers provisions for conduit solutions, or for a quick connect to the ArmorConnect power media.

ArmorConnect power media to be available 1QFY07. This will allow the ArmorStart to be more readily accepted by customers who want a "plug and play" design for power and control media to minimize installation time. For the Bulletin 284 utilizing Control brake, a "CB" option is being completed that will provide control voltage (24V DC, 120V AC and 240V AC) to the motor brake circuit-instead of the power being derived from line power.

Open fuse indication for Control power, I/O output, control and source brake has also added to provide for status over the network. The ArmorStart product line is cULus listed and CE labeled.
