PanelConnect is the next generation "Plug and Play" Interface Module that offers a simple connection between PLC I/O and field devices through the enclosure wall. PanelConnect easily interfaces to Inputs, Outputs, or Combination (Input/Output) devices while maintaining the environmental integrity of the panel. Through-panel connection modules, along with optional pre-wired PLC I/O cables, can enhance your profitability through their unique, easy-to-connect design.

PanelConnect Input Modules
PanelConnect Input Modules provide a tool-free solution for connecting PLC inputs to field devices like proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, and push buttons. PanelConnect's self-sealing gasket enables these devices to maintain their IP65 and NEMA 4/4X environmental ratings by protecting them from dirt, water, and debris. The control panel can now be placed closer to the manafacturing process; dramatically reducing wiring time and component installation cost. PanelConnect modules and assosiated sensor connection systems are capable of connecting up to 32 sensors directly to a 32 point PLC input module.

PanelConnect Output Modules
PanelConnect Output Modules also provide a tool-free solution for connecting PLC outputs to field devices like pneumatic valves and solenoids. These modules achieve an effective through-panel connection without the use of multi-pin connectors and screw wired terminal blocks. Field devices are able to maintain their IP65 and NEMA 4/4X ratings because of PanelConnect's unique, self-sealing gaskets that protect devices from harsh environmental surroundings. PanelConnect modules and associated output connection systems are capable of connecting up to 32 outputs directly to a 32 point PLC output module. Valve manifolds of up to 16 outputs can also be connected directly to the PanelConnect.

PanelConnect Combination Modules
PanelConnect Combination Modules are used when input and output devices are located within the same area of each other on a process machine. The combination module features self-sealing gasketing that enables devices to maintain their IP65 and NEMA 4/4X ratings while providing a tool-free solution for connecting PLC inputs and outputs to field devices like conveyor systems. The input side of a Combination PanelConnect Module accepts two standard pre-wired cables. One cable is connected to a 16 point PLC input module and the second cable is connected to a matching 16 point output module. The module distributes four inputs and four outputs to each of its four field side connectors. This allows four inputs and four outputs to be accessed at each eight point expansion block.
