Built-In DeviceNet

IntelliCENTER incorporates the proven open network DeviceNet, eliminating the bundles of control interwiring typically found in MCCs.

The DeviceNet cabling is built into the MCC, routed behind permanent MCC walls and barriers to prevent accidental damage during installation.

Each IntelliCENTER section features six built-in DeviceNet ports, allowing for easier installation, relocation, and adding of new units — all without having to interrupt the operation of adjacent units.

IntelliCENTER improves the DeviceNet cabling by providing a system rated for 8 amperes, 600 volts, Class 1. The increased rating eliminates the nuisance and cost of providing multiple power supplies. The Class 1 rating allows the DeviceNet cables to be routed next to power cables.
