MSR57 Speed Monitoring Relay
The MSR57P speed monitoring safety relay is the first of its kind to allow personnel to enter hazardous areas while motion is present. It supports numerous input devices such as an e-stop, safe speed selector switch, enabling and guardlocking switches to monitor the machine and controls required to operate it. The MSR57P improves productivity by unlocking doors when zero speed is detected.
Drive Explorer or a HIM device (same devices required to program standard drives) are used to configure and monitor the status of the MSR57P. The MSR57P monitors the speed of the machine via an encoder(s) and identifies when the machine is running at a safe speed (defined by the user). Its ideal for new or existing installations, single or multi-axis, with all types of drives and can monitor the encoders that are already installed in your system.
