GuardShield™ 3-Beam Perimeter Access Control (PAC)
The GuardShield 3-Beam PAC safety light curtain is a multiple beam, presence sensing device designed for perimeter or access detection around hazardous machinery or equipment. The GuardShield PAC is a Type 4 active opto protective device (AOPD) per IEC 61496. It is a self-contained, optically synchronized, two box (transmitter and receiver) safety light curtain with dip switch selectable parameters. The GuardShield PAC has 400mm beam spacing and a range of 0.5m to 16m.
The PAC multi-beam safety light barrier can be used for safeguarding access to dangerous areas and for danger zone protections. Typical applications include access control for processing areas, cutting, stacking, and palletizing machines.
