The new 440P IEC/safety limit switch line combines and enhances the existing 802A IEC limit switches and 440P safety limit switches into one common family competitively priced for OEMs. The 440P line is available with either 22mm mounting in a plastic body or 30mm x 60mm mounting in a metal body, with both M20 or 1/2" NPT conduit style options. This broader selection of conduit openings and operator types make the 440P appropriate for a wide variety of applications. Additionally, the 440P can be used in non-traditional limit switch applications for European OEMs exporting equipment to the Americas such as scissor lifts, elevators, escalators and overhead doors. The 22mm plastic body style is available in positive opening action two- and three-circuit models, with seven different operator types:
