Bulletin 42EF RightSight™ Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensors

This RightSight photoelectric sensor is a general purpose sensor designed for light to medium level industrial use. The sensor is available in both 12-24VDC and “universal AC/DC supply” versions with a variety of output types. The RightSight product family has been broadened by the addition of a new non-polarised retroreflective sensing mode, providing a longer range sensing solution for applications where use of a transmitted beam pair or a larger photoelectric sensor is not feasible.

The RightSight sensor with standard retroreflective sensing mode is designed for applications where the target will pass between the sensor and a reflector. The distance between the sensor and reflector can be up to 4.5m (14.7ft). If the target being detected is shrink-wrapped or shiny (metal, foils, etc.), then a polarised retroreflective sensing model should be selected.
