44B Adjustable Background Suppression Photoelectric Sensor

The 44B mechanically adjustable background suppression photoelectric sensor is the first in a new family of photoelectric sensors using the popular 50mm rectangular form factor. The 44B is used in applications where reliable suppression of background (such as shiny surfaces or reflections) is required, eliminating the need for a retroreflective sensor and reflector.

Models are available with adjustable background and foreground suppression sensing modes and feature a manual adjustment for precise setting of the cutoff point. A stability indicator warms of an unstable application condition such as lens contamination. Features include:
