SmartSight 9000 DeviceNet Photoelectric Sensor

Rockwell Automation was the first manufac-turer to introduce a DeviceNet-compatible photoelectric sensor when it launched the DeviceNet 9000. Today, history is again being made with the introduction of the first "self-teach" photoelectric sensor for DeviceNet. At the touch of a button, the new and enhanced SmartSight 9000 photoelectric sensor will learn the application being presented to it. This operation may also be activated over the network. Other notable features include:

  • Selectable strobing or COS operating modes
  • Advanced diagnostics such as "dirty lens" notification
  • Advanced logic functions such as on, off and one-shot time delays
  • Mechanical node address setting
