Safety Barriers
For
intrinsic safety applications where a zener diode barrier
solution is indicated, the Bulletin 897H provides passive
protective interface assemblies to isolate intrinsically safe
circuits from non-intrinsically safe circuits. Certain models
offer a keyed fuse assembly that is the only part that needs
to be replaced in the event of fault due to overvoltage, polarity
misconnection or transients. This eliminates disassembly,
disconnection of wiring or disposal of an entire barrier.
