Fault Number: 32
Fault Display:
EEprom Fault
Fault Name:
EEprom Fault
Description:
EEprom is being programmed and will not write a new value.
Corrective Action:
The EEprom will not store a value. This used to be fairly common when users would change drive speed by changing values using explicit messages, or block transfers. The only way to remedy this problem will be to replace the EEprom board. The EEprom resides on the base driver board for all size drives.

It is recommended to update programming of the communication network.

On C-frame and above drives can get this fault due to noise on the 50 pin ribbon cable connecting base driver board to main control board. The fix is to replace the ribbon cable with an updated part that contains a ferrite core.
