Fault Number: 33
Fault Display:
Max Retries Fault
Fault Name:
Max Retries Fault
Description:
Drive unsuccessfully attempted to reset a fault and resume running for the programmed number of [Reset/Run Tries].
Corrective Action:
This is a fault that is caused by parameter 85 (Reset/Run Tries). Once the value is parameter 85 is exceeded, this fault will occur.

To correct, disable parameter 85 by setting it to "0". If you intended to have reset/run tries enabled, then you will need to find out what fault is not being reset by the time the reset/run tries and reset/run time (parameter 15) expires. These faults can be viewed in Fault Buffer 0, 1, 2, and 3 (parameters 86-89). Fault 33 will be in Fault buffer 0 when this fault occurs, and the fault that did not reset will be in fault buffer 1. That will be the fault you will want to troubleshoot.

Increasing reset/run tries and reset/run time will give the fault causing fault 33 more time to correct itself.
