- Description –

PowerFlex 700S drives may stop operating because of dielectric breakdown on the Voltage Feedback and Power Supply Board Assembly. This breakdown, which occurs between the positive and negative bus voltages, may cause circuit board de-lamination. Only PowerFlex 700S drives connected to 690VAC or 932VDC are affected by this anomaly.

-Temporary Workarounds –
No temporary workaround is available.

- Correction –

  • All drives manufactured after February 18, 2009 have the corrected Voltage Feedback and Power Supply Board Assembly installed.
  • Replacement Voltage Feedback Board and Power Supply Kits, catalog number SK-H1-SVFB2-E1, will be
supplied to customers at no charge. Customers can order replacement kits, at no cost, for a period of one year
