- Issue Description -
With the PowerFlex DC drives, catalog numbers starting with 20P, firmware version 1.006 to 2.001.013, the following
potential safety issue exists:
The values for P.3 Max Speed Fwd and P.4 Max Speed Rev are overwritten by the value in P.2 Maximum Speed
when you power up the drive. This can result in changes to the forward and reverse maximum speed limits if they
(one or both) were manually set different from the value in P.2 Maximum Speed before the last power cycle.
The values for P.5 Min Speed Fwd and P.6 Min Speed Rev are overwritten by the value in P.1 Minimum Speed when
you power up the drive. This can result in changes to the forward and reverse minimum speed limits if they (one or
both) were manually set different from the value in P.1 Minimum Speed before the last power cycle.
ATTENTION: This condition poses a safety hazard that could potentially result in death,
serious personal injury or property damage.
-Temporary Workarounds -
No Temporary Workaround exists for this issue.
- Issue Correction -
The potential safety issue described above has been corrected in the following versions of
