Issue Description

The Transformer on the power supply board fails and causes the drive to fault on F03 (Power Loss fault.) The cause of the failure was attributed to electrical overstress. Most of the failed returns came from a site where the end user had a high incoming line. The returned field failure rate is approximately 7%.

Issue Correction

All PowerFlex 400 G/H frame drives: 22C-D260A103, 22C-D310A103, 22C-D370A103, 22C-D460A103 ordered between 2/2007 and 11/2007 may be affected.

Part kits have been created for service use:

• 22C-D260A103, 22C-D310A103 (G-Frame power supply): Kit number SK-U1-PS1-G1
• 22C-D370A103, 22C-D460A103 (H-Frame power supply): Kit number SK-U1-PS1-H1
