Q? Braking Recommendations With the 1302
A! It seems that as of recently, the recommended brake for the 1302 is not available. The description in the book would read as a "Low Energy Snubber Resistor Braking Kit for 1302 Drives" with a model number of 1302-2DB5010. The instruction manual is a 1302-5.1. You can use a 1336-MOD-KCxxx. These as you know are the braking kits for the 1336 Plus and Plus II drives. They will work fine on these drives.
