Modification B. Output Voltmeter (Analog): 2½" meter. Calibrated 0?300V AC. Indicates output voltage to motor. Mounted and wired in door of the enclosure or supplied loose for separate mounting.

Modification C. Speed Indicator (Analog): 2½" meter calibrated from 0-100% of maximum speed. Mounted and wired in door of the enclosure or supplied loose for separate mounting.

Modification C2. Speed Indicator (Analog): 2½" meter calibrated to a special scale - RPM, FT/MIN, GPM, etc. Mounted and wired in door of the enclosure or supplied loose for separate mounting.

Modification E. Frequency Indicator (Digital): Four digit LED readout of output frequency up to 199.9 Hz. Mounted and wired in door of the enclosure.

Modification E2. Remote Frequency Indicator (Digital): Four digit LED readout of output frequency up to 199.9 Hz. May be mounted up to 50 ft. from the drive.

Modification F. Ten-Turn Speed Pot, with counter dial. Mounted and wired in door of the enclosure or supplied loose for separate mounting. May be mounted up to 50 ft. from the drive.

Modification G. Digital Frequency Control (Thumbwheel Input): Five digit thumbwheel mounted and wired in door of the enclosure or supplied loose for separate mounting. Sets output frequency with a range of 0-199.99 Hz. Provides accuracy to ±0.006% of maximum frequency.

Modification G2. Digital Frequency Control (Remote Thumbwheel Input): Provides an interface board mounted and wired in the drive plus five digit thumbwheel for remote mounting (up to 50 ft.).

Modification G3. BCD Interface: Provides an isolating interface board mounted and wired to a terminal strip. Accepts BCD logic for speed control from a computer or programmable controller. Suitable for use with Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1771-OG TTL Output Module Assembly. Requires separate +5V DC, 0.3A power supply. Includes auto/manual switch and manual speed pot wired and mounted in the drive per customer order.

Modification H. Omit Operating Devices From Enclosure Door (Blank Door): Devices not supplied loose unless ordered separately.

Modification J. Reversing: FORWARD/REVERSE selector switch mounted and wired in door of enclosure. Includes forward/reverse relay mounted on Control Board.

Modification J2. Reversing (Remote Operation): FORWARD/ REVERSE switch is furnished by customer. Includes forward/ reverse relay mounted on Control Board.

Modification K. Dynamic Braking (Standard Duty): DB resistors mounted in separate enclosure.

Modification K2. Dynamic Braking (Hearty Duty): Provides additional capacity for heavy inertia loads and/or frequent stopping. dB resistors mounted in separate fan cooled enclosure.

NOTE: The braking option may be required for some reversing applications, e.g., fast cycle rates, high inertia loads. The brake absorbs energy from a rotating motor when the output frequency is lowered faster than the motor would normally slow down due to windage, friction, and connected load. The brake has no holding power and is not functional when the Drive is "off" or when motor is at zero speed.

Modification L. RUN/STOP: RUN/STOP switch mounted and wired in the door of the enclosure.

Modification L2. RUN/STOP (Remote Operation): RUN/STOP switch is furnished by customer. Jog feature is achieved by operating the RUN/STOP function with a "momentary" push button.

NOTE: The use of the RUN/STOP switch modification and a momentary contact push button for JOG operation eliminates D.C. Bus precharge time and provides instant motor response.

The RUN/STOP switch (and JOG push button, if used) interface with control circuitry on the logic board. ON/OFF push buttons are required for input power control.

With the RUN/STOP switch in the RUN position, the ON/ OFF push buttons will control input power to the system and the delay times required to precharge DC Bus capacitors will be present.

Modification N. Isolating Signal Conditioner: Provides impedance matching and DC isolation between the signal source and the Drive. The customer must specify the signal source range and the source impedance. Included are a manual speed pot and Auto/Manual switch mounted and wired in the drive per customer order.

Modification N2. Isolating Signal Conditioner (DC Current Signal Source): Provides impedance matching and DC isolation for a 4?20mA signal source.

Modification N3. Isolating Signal Conditioner (DC Voltage Signal Source): Provides impedance matching and DC isolation for a 0?10V DC signal source.

Modification P. Master Speed Control: A separate NEMA Type 12 enclosure is provided and contains a master speed pot plus up to 4 individual auxiliary pots wired and mounted in the drive per customer order to provide isolated speed signals to several Drives.

NOTE: The unit can be programmed by means of a plug?in module to provide alternative control methods. Some examples are given below.

  • Two master pots with 1 and 2 slaves
  • Transducer input providing master control
  • Voltage input control
  • Multiple sections of 5 drive control units each

Modification T. Motor Overload Relay: Provides 3 phase motor running overload protection. Factory mounted in drive enclosure and prewired to drive output. One set of heater elements are provided with each relay.

Special Modifications

Output Auto Transformer: The output voltage of the Bulletin 1330 Drive is limited to a maximum of 230V AC. To develop full rated KVA this voltage must be reached. If some maximum voltage other than 230V AC is required at the motor, an output transformer must be used. These transformers are specially designed as autotransformers and built for the high frequency wave form peculiar to the PWM (pulse width modulated) drive.

Remote Operator Control Station: Adjustable speed pots should be linear 1 K ohm, 2 watt. Standard operator stations available from the factory include the following. All are available in NEMA Type 4, 7 or 12 enclosures.

  1. ON/OFF push buttons and 1 K ohm speed pot.
  2. ON/OFF push buttons, 1 K ohm Speed Pot, and any one of the following:
    RUN/STOP or FORWARD/REVERSE or THREAD/RUN selector switches.
  3. Same as 2. above but includes any two of the selector switches.
