STANDARD MODIFICATIONS Modification A. Output Ammeter (Analog): 2½" meter. Calibrated in AC amps. Indicates current in one line of the three-phase motor. Mounted in door of enclosure, or supplied loose for separate mounting.
Modification B. Output Voltmeter (Analog): 2½" meter. Calibrated 0-300V AC. Indicates output voltage to motor. Mounted in door of the enclosure, or supplied loose for separate mounting. Modification C. Speed Indicator (Analog): 2½"meter. Calibrated 0100% of maximum speed. Modification C2. Speed Indicator (Analog): 2½"meter. Calibrated to a special scale, e.g., RPM, FT./MIN, GPM. Modification D. Not offered on Bulletin 1330 Drives. Modification E. Frequency Indicator (Digital): Four Digit LED readout of output frequency to xxx.x Hz. Mounted in the door of the enclosure, or supplied loose for separate mounting, remote Mounted Indicator requires a Line Driver for distances over 2 feet. Modification F. Ten?Turn Speed Pot, with counter dial. Modification G. Digital Frequency Control (Thumbwheel Input: Five digit thumbwheel mounted in door or supplied loose for separate mounting. Sets output frequency with a range of 0199.99 Hz. Provides frequency accuracy to t 0.006% of maximum frequency. Remote mounted thumbwheel requires line driver for distances over 2 feet. Modification H. Omit operating devices from enclosure door. (Devices not provided loose unless ordered separately.) Modification J. Reversing: FORWARD/REVERSE selector switch mounted in door of enclosure. Includes necessary relay. Modification J2. Reversing: Remote operation ? FORWARD/ REVERSE switch is furnished by customer. Modification K. Dynamic Braking: Standard duty. Mounted in the enclosure. Modification K2. Dynamic Braking: Heavy duty. For heavy inertia loads and/or frequent stopping and speed changes. The braking resistors are supplied mounted and wired in a separate enclosure. NOTE: The braking option may be required for some reversing applications, i.e., fast cycle rates, high inertia loads. The brake absorbs energy from a rotating motor when the output frequency is lowered faster than the motor would normally slow down due to windage, friction, and connected load. The brake has no holding power and is not functional when the Drive is "stopped" or when motor is at zero speed. Modification L. RUN/STOP: RUN/STOP switch mounted and wired in the door of the standard enclosure. Modification L2. RUN/STOP: Remote operation ? RUN/STOP switch is furnished by customer. Jog feature is achieved by operating the RUN/STOP function with a "momentary" push button. NOTE: RUN/STOP switch modification and a momentary contact push button for JOG operation eliminates precharge time and provides instant response.
Modification M. Not offered on Bulletin 1330 Drives. Modification N. Isolating Signal Conditioner: The signal Conditioner provides impedance matching and DC isolation between the signal source and the Drive. The customer must specify the signal source range and in some instances, the source impedance. A manual speed pot and Auto/Manual switch are mounted on the enclosure door. Modification N2. AC Voltage Follower. The AC Voltage Follower provides isolation from an externally supplied AC signal, such as an AC tachometer. An Auto/Manual switch and manual speed pot are available. Modification P. Master Speed Control: A separate NEMA Type 12 enclosure is provided and contains a master speed pot plus up to 4 individual slave pots to provide isolated speed signals to several Drives. NOTE: The unit can be programmed by means of a plug?in module to provide alternative control methods. Some examples are given below:
Other Modifications Input Isolation Transformer: Mounted in NEMA Type 1 enclosure for separate wall mounting. 230V AC secondary 50/60 Hz. (See connections, Appendix 1). Primary voltage and taps to be specified by customer.
Special Modifications Output Auto Transformer: The output voltage of the Bulletin 1330 Drive is limited to a maximum of 230V AC. To develop full rated KVA, however, this voltage must be reached. If some maximum voltage other than 230V AC is required at the motor, an output transformer must be used. These transformers are specially designed as auto transformers and built for the high frequency wave form peculiar to the PWM (pulse width modulated) drive.
Remote Operator Control Station: Adjustable speed pots should be 1 K ohm, 2 watt. Standard operator stations available from the factory include the following: (All are NEMA Type 12 enclosures.)
