Drives Service & Support
Specifications
- Single Phase - Three Pulse
- Power Units - 1/4 thru 5 HP
The specifications as listed below apply to the basic SPEEDPAK control. These specifications may vary for a given system design due to the particular D.C. motor and tachometer generator characteristics.
Environment - The basic power unit is designed to operate under the following conditions.
- Altitude: Up to 3300 feet above sea level
- Ambient Temperature: 40°C (104°F) maximum
- Line Voltage Variation: -5% to +10%
- Line Frequency: 50 or 60 Hz.
Speed Range - 50:1 (1000:1 optional)
Note: Motor Heating and Torque - Motor design in many instances limits the amount of torque that can be produced at reduced motor speeds. This is usually dependent on type of enclosure, class of insulation, and frame size. If continuous full load torque is required at low speeds, some supplementary ventilation or a derated motor may be required.
All standard motor base speeds are available.
Speed Regulation - No load to full load: 2% (0.1% optional)
Power Conversion Efficiency - 98%
Standard Modifications Available
- Linear Acceleration - Deceleration
- Jog Speed - Separately Adjustable
- Thread Speed - Separately Adjustable
- Auto/Manual Relay
- Tachometer Feedback
- Isolation Transformer
- Tachometer Loss "Runaway" Protection
