Fault Number : 33

Fault Display : Auto Rstrt Tries

Fault Name : Auto Restart Tries

Fault Type : 3 - User Configurable

Fault Description : Drive unsuccessfully attempted to reset a fault and resume running for the programmed number of [Flt RstRun Tries].

Corrective Action : This fault can be enabled / disabled by using [Fault Config 1] parameter using bit number 5. Default in the Fault config parameter is disabled. This indicates that a fault is not clearing, or the fault preset cannot be cleared. This fault works with two different parameters. They are parameter 174 [Auto Rstrt Tries] and parameter 175 [Auto Rstrt Delay].

When a fault occurs, the drive looks to parameter 174 [Auto Rstrt Tries] to see how many times the drive should attempt to reset a fault, and restart. If the fault does not clear, it then looks to parameter 175 [Auto Rstrt Delay] to see how long it should wait until it tries to reset the fault and restart. After this procedure has looped the number of times programmed into parameter 174 [Auto Rstrt Tries]. After this amount of tries has been exceeded, this fault will occur.

ATTENTION: Equipment damage and/or personal injury may result if this parameter is used in an inappropriate application. Do not use this function without considering applicable local, national and international codes, standards, regulations or industry guidelines.
