Description
The DriveTools32 Patches are:
COMM_DB.DLL Ver. 2.50.1.1 Patch
This patch corrects a potential issue that applies to users who connect to drives on ControlNet networks that are connected to ControlLogix gateways. When DriveTools32 V2.50 is configured for ControlNet Direct communications (i.e. the PC and drive are on the same local network), the user may click the RSWho button on the Connect to Drive dialog. When the RSWho dialog opens, the network corresponding to ControlNet Direct communications is displayed.
If the user then navigates across ControlLogix gateways from the local ControlNet network and selects a drive on a remote network, DriveTools32 software reads the node address of the drive on the remote network. If the drive on the remote network has the same node address as a drive on the local network, DriveTools32 software will connect to the drive on the local network. If the node address does not exist on the local network, DriveTools32 software will fail connection.
You MUST install this patch if you are using DriveManager32 with ControlLogix controllers.
